Sky Catz Disc Golf Club was privileged to hold a memorial tournament in honor of Robert “Flipper” Johnston on January 20^th, 2008. Over $2,000 was raised to help Robbie’s family offset some of his final expenses. Over 100 people contributed as well as the following organizations and/or business : Carl’s Junior, KC Nails, Tribal Weaver, Brighton Street Market, Penn Valley Shell, LuAnn Alcombrack, TrendCuts, Starbuck’s, Gold Rush Carwash, Mountain Recreation, Orion Clemens, Bill Babishoff, Brian Newton, Sally Schuster, Mike and Leslie Woodman, Mike Travers, Constructive Services, Geoff and Johnny Lissaman, Skull Brown, Mr. Neal of NorCal Series, Western Gateway Park and Recreation District , the Auburn, Rocklin, Chico and Orangevale Disc Golf Clubs.
