Sky Catz holds weekly random
doubles tournaments at the Hanging Oaks course in Penn Valley
and at the Squirrel Creek course in Grass Valley. The entry fee is $7,
of which $1 goes to the Ace Pot, $1 goes to the Club for course
maintenance, and $5 goes to the payout. The first ace pot tops out at
$200 in Penn Valley and $100 in Grass Valley. However, at
Squirrel Creek, entry fees from non-club members along
with $0.25 from each member entry fee go into the
UNLIMITED POT. This pot never tops out and is won
only by a second ace hit by the same person during the
same round. At Hanging Oaks, a backup pot is established, if possible, in the event
of multiple aces, topping out at $250.
Weekly tournament starting times change for the
season with Daylight Savings Time. Check this page for current
starting times.
